Jackson Native’s ‘EastSiders’ preps for 2nd season

There became a moment after going from audition to audition in Los Angeles where Jackson native Kit Williamson, becoming frustrated by seeing a lack of characters like himself, thought ‘I’m going to have to do it myself.’ Pulling from the mistakes he had seen on other microbudget projects, Williamson self-financed two episodes of his series “EastSiders” in 2012, in which he wrote, stars and directs.
